About Grammar Guardians

Grammar Guardians is a language practice based in Bloemfontein that specialises

in proofreading, editing, and translation in English and Afrikaans.

We focus on proofreading, editing, translating and formatting of theses, dissertations, books, reports, study guides, scholarly articles for national

and international journals and all other types of text. Grammar Guardians is a registered vendor at the following South African universities:

Grammar Guardians offers three service packages for proofreading and editing.

We also offer layout and formatting as a stand-alone service, as well as translation (English and Afrikaans).

Our commercial services comprise copywriting (including PowerPoint presentations) and business plans.

Qualifications and Experience

Rudi has a B.Tech degree in Language Practice and has worked as an academic publisher, translator,

proofreader, layout artist, copywriter and sub-editor.

Jeanne has an honours degree in Business Management and has worked as a business consultant and proofreader.

She is also the founder of Grammar Guardians and has proofread and edited academic theses since 2005.
